Dryers let you dry laundry without relying on sunshine — useful in Uganda's rainy season and in compounds with limited outdoor drying space. Because power reliability varies by area, it is worth matching a model to your household's backup power arrangement and confirming installation support before ordering. Buying Guide
Tumble dryers are the simplest to operate for mixed household loads, while condenser dryers avoid the need for an external vent, which suits apartments. Heat pump units can lower running costs over time, and a vented model is worth considering only where you have a clear, short exhaust route. Whichever type you're considering, venting requirements can affect what installation support is possible at your address, so confirm this with KWT Tech Mart before ordering.

Vented and condenser models draw high power for heating, so check the wattage against your socket circuit and any backup inverter. Heat pump models dry at lower temperatures, so compare their rated power and cycle times in the specifications.
Can all clothes go in a dryer?
Check each care label: wool, silk, some synthetics and printed garments can shrink or be damaged by heat. Most machines offer a low-heat or delicate programme for lighter fabrics.
What routine care does a dryer need?
Clean the lint filter after every load and, on condenser models, empty the water container or connect a drain hose. Heat pump models also need their condenser filter rinsed as the manual advises.
What drum capacity should a dryer have?
Choose a dryer whose capacity in kilograms matches your washing machine's, so one wash load can be dried in one go.
How long does delivery take once a dryer is ordered?
Kampala orders are typically delivered within 1 business day. Orders outside Kampala add one additional business day for transit.
